AlmSens Wellness respects your privacy and handles your personal data carefully, in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/AVG). This policy explains what personal information I collect, why I use it and what rights you have.

AlmSens Wellness also offers appointments at a treatment location in Amsterdam: WG-plein 451, 1054 SH Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
2. What information do I collect and why?
When you book an appointment or contact AlmSens Wellness, I may collect your name, telephone number, email address, appointment details and any information you voluntarily provide in a message.
This information is used to arrange and manage appointments, send appointment confirmations and reminders, respond to enquiries and communicate with you about your appointment.
Appointments can be booked through the online booking system, by email or by telephone. If I arrange an appointment for you directly, I may enter the necessary information into the booking system on your behalf.
I also keep a limited client list for administrative purposes. This may include your name and telephone number and, when an invoice is requested, your address and date of birth.
AlmSens Wellness does not currently send newsletters, and your contact details are not added to a marketing mailing list.
3. Health information
Before your massage, I may ask you verbally about relevant health conditions, injuries, pregnancy, medication, allergies or other circumstances that may be important for providing your massage safely and appropriately.
AlmSens Wellness does not create or keep medical records or health files for massage clients. Relevant health information is normally discussed verbally before the session and is not recorded in the booking system or client list.
Please do not include sensitive medical or health information in the online booking message or the website contact form.
4. Invoices and payments
If you request an invoice, I may process your name, address, date of birth, treatment date, session duration and price. Payments may be made in cash or via a Tikkie/payment request. Information required for invoices, payments and business administration may be kept where necessary to comply with legal and tax obligations.
5. Service providers and data sharing
AlmSens Wellness uses third-party services where necessary to run the business, including services for online appointment management (Salonized), payments, email, website hosting and administration. These providers may process limited personal data only where necessary to provide their services. AlmSens Wellness does not sell your personal data.
6. How long is your information kept?
Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as required by legal, tax or administrative obligations (for example, the Dutch tax retention period for financial records). Health information discussed verbally before a massage is not routinely recorded or kept.
7. Your privacy rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction of processing, object to certain processing and withdraw consent where applicable. Some information may need to be kept where there is a legal obligation to do so.
To exercise your rights or ask a question about your personal data, please contact info@almsens.com. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
